If you need directions to a specific location, but don't have time to build a route in advance, use Instant Navigation: choose any location on your phone, and send an auto-generated route directly to DURA or DURA 2 SOLAR to take you there.
Choose a Location via Your Phone
Both DURA and DURA 2 SOLAR support navigating to a location you select in the COROS app, Google Maps, or Apple Maps.
- Choose your destination. Open Google Maps or Apple Maps and mark a pin or an address. Or use the Explore page in the COROS app, where you can mark a location or select one of your already saved pins.
- Share to COROS. If you already selected a location via the COROS app, skip this step. Otherwise, use the share button in your map application and choose to open with the COROS app.
- Select "Navigation" from the available options. This will generate a route from your current location to that destination.
- Select "Take me there" to sync the route to your DURA or DURA 2 SOLAR.
Note: Any routes created with Instant Navigation are not saved to your app or device. They will be erased after the activity is completed.
Choose a Location on DURA 2 SOLAR
DURA 2 SOLAR supports navigating to one of your saved pins or a new location, directly on the device.
- Open the Navigation menu from the home screen.
- Select "Pin" to generate a route from your current location to one of your saved locations. These are pins that you marked in previous rides or created in the Explore page of the COROS app.
- Use the search bar to speak an address or location. DURA 2 SOLAR will search for relevant nearby results. Select one to generate a route from your current location to that destination.
